Field Trips
At Little Saints we have chosen to bring all "field trips" on-site. We believe that children enjoy the many different exposure opportunities that we offer on a regular basis. This is done effectively and with lots of excitement by just arranging to have regular visitors join us for a special day.
Some of the most exciting events are pictured below.

Each fall a local ambulance visits and teaches children about emergency medical treatment - including reducing aprehension and fear of emergency situations.
In May we study farm life and near the end of the month a local petting farm comes on-site and brings a variety of different animals for children to experience.
While studying Community Helpers in the fall we are fortunate to have a local dentist, Dr. Richard Stevens D.D.S. (pictured above), and a family practice physician, Dr. Tonya Sexton D.O. (pictured below) each visit our classrooms. The children enjoy learning more about what they will experience when they visit each of their respective offices during regular visits. Each doctor also discusses preventive care and exposes them to typical medical tools to increase their knowledge.
Pictured below is a visit during Fire Prevention month by the Hartland Fire Department. The children enjoy many different aspects of this visit - including the talk on fire safety, fire prevention, sitting in the truck, and listening to the siren, and looking at the flashing lights.
